Nummer eins
I'm in the process of reading a book called How They Met. The book is composed of a total of about 15 different love stories as each chapter. It's really quite interesting, their not all ooshie gooshie like you would expect. A few have already ended in heartbreak, on the other hand though some have turned out exactly as you would expect it to. The author even goes into taboo subjects like gay couples and transvestites. You jump into the main charcters head and really feel what they are going through. I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a good book. [:

When reading this book do you ever mix up the characters or the other stories going on in this book? Also is the book just looking at 15 different senarios of peoples love life?
Similar to Joe's comment, is this book a collection of short stories about love? If so, are there any recurring characters? I read an enjoyable, though complicated book over the summer you might enjoy, "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" by Milan Kundera. It also deals heavily in relationships, asking questions such as "is it better to commit oneself to a single partner for life or stay 'serially monogamous'?" Kurt Vonnegut (my favorite author) also has two books of short stories that include some love stories, "Bagombo Snuff Box" and "Welcome to the Monkey House."
How did you come across this book?
